How does UNDP do business

Procurement plays an important role in UNDP since nearly 85% of UNDP funds have been spent on procurement.  Hence Procurement Unit focuses on providing effective and high quality procurement services, procurement support/advice and trainings to UNDP Country Office, NIM Projects, Green One UN House and  other UN Agencies  while adhering to the Core UNDP Procurement Principles:  Best value for Money, Fairness, Transparency and Effective Competition.  In addition, Procurement Unit also provides the following services: (i)  Vendor Management; (ii) Equipment Transfer; (iii) Procurement Spot Check; (iv) disposal of High Value Asset; (v) CO Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and (vi) Office Security.
