    Coca-Cola joins UNDP to provide clean water for communities

    The Coca-Cola Company today joined the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in an effort to provide “Clean Water for Communities in Viet Nam”. The project will help improve the access to clean water of selected rural communes in Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Ha Tay, Lang Son, Tuyen Quang and Tra Vinh provinces. Coca-Cola will provide funds to UNDP on a cost-sharing basis towards implementation of the project, which will promote community action for promotion and access to clean water through local self-help groups.

    MoF, UNDP launch financial policy analysis project

    The Ministry of Finance and the United Nations Development Programme today inaugurated a new financial policy analysis capacity-building project at a ceremony in Ha Noi attended by government officials and representatives from the donor community in Viet Nam.     Small Grants Aim to Make Big Contributions to Sustainable Development

    The UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the European Commission (EC) launched today a series of projects under Small Grants Programme to Promote Tropical Forests (SGP PTF) to help local communities implement sound forest management and preserve the forests as the country pursues its drive for sustainable development. SGP PTF in Viet Nam is part of a SGP PTF’ Regional Programme with a total grant of Euro 15 million, funded by the EC and implemented by UNDP to promote tropical forests in nine Asian countries including Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Viet Nam.
