Ca Mau Province, 14 December 2019 – Phan Ngoc Hien Specialized High School of Ca Mau Province and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Viet Nam organize the grafting event “Green puzzle” to convey the message: “Protection of mangroves, protection of life from waves, mitigating the effects of climate change” with the participation of more than 1,000 students.

The puzzle is 30m long and 1.2m wide and is made up of thousands of pieces. The content of the picture was conveyed by combining hundreds of paintings from students in the drawing contest "Mangroves protect lives, minimize the impact of climate change" as the background. The work was conceived and implemented by artist Nguyen Xuan Lan.

With impressive dimensions, the puzzles form a "green" wall like a mangrove forest that protects people from sea waves. Each piece of the picture is like the parts of the earth, if a piece is missing, it is not complete. Therefore, to protect the earth, protect human life and minimize the impact of climate change, there is a need for the cooperation of all people with different practical climate actions.

After the event, the picture will be exhibited at Phan Ngoc Hien Specialized High School to share this message with students and the community.
